Product Roadmap for 2025: What’s coming up?

Before we get into the product roadmap for this year, we want to take a moment to reflect on the past year. 2024 was a big year for us at Conference Compass. We launched Floq Event Management, bringing together event registration, abstract management, and event apps into one platform. It’s been great to see so many clients already using these features to simplify their event planning and create a better experience for their community and attendees.
One of the key updates of the last year was the new home screen menu, designed to improve navigation and customisation. Many clients have already made use of it, tailored it to their needs, and have created the ultimate intuitive app experience for their attendees.
Early in 2024, we also launched live captions and translation, making events more accessible and inclusive. We have a great video explaining how they work and what the many benefits are.
Looking Ahead: The Floq 2025 Product Roadmap
With such a solid foundation in place, we’re excited to continue improving Floq in 2025. Here’s what’s coming next:
1. More Control for Exhibitors
Exhibitors will get access to a dedicated exhibitor dashboard in the web app, where they can update their company profile, banners, videos, and links. Organisers will have the final say, approving updates before they go live.
2. Improved Attendee Profiles and Community Features
A new attendee list, community list, and profile pages in Floq Studio will give attendees more complete profiles. Information like profile pictures and biographies will be merged from user accounts and event data for better networking.
3. DIY Attendee Sync Setup
Users will be able to set up attendee sync themselves through the Integrations page—no custom development needed. Scheduled sync jobs will ensure data stays up to date, similar to how program data sync works now.
4. Lead Capture and Meeting Scheduling
Exhibitor representatives will be able to scan attendee QR codes through the mobile app, adding them to their contact list for follow-ups. Future updates will allow them to share contacts, manage leads, and set up meeting slots for attendees to book time with them.
5. Smarter Matchmaking for Attendees
Attendees will be able to filter contacts by tags like region, interests, or specialty. These tags can be added manually or synced from external systems. AI-driven recommendations will help attendees connect with relevant people more easily.
6. Domain-specific captions
We will allow an AI-driven system to understand more about the context of certain . This will help the system recognise event-specific terms, acronyms, and speaker names, making captions more accurate and useful.
The Future of Event Tech
The role of technology in events continues to grow, making networking and event management more efficient. Innovations like AI-powered matchmaking and real-time lead management are shaping the future of events.
