Serious Hazards of Transfusion (SHOT) is the UK's independent organisation focused on improving safety in blood transfusions.
Each year, SHOT compiles an Annual Report with recommendations to enhance patient safety. This report is a key feature of their annual symposium, which includes panel discussions, interactive sessions, and highlights from the latest findings.
SHOT needed a mobile app to act as a central hub for their community. They required the Annual Report to be easily accessible, along with details about the event program, floor plan, and participant information. The app also needed to facilitate communication and keep the community engaged with timely updates and notifications.
